We are seeking a proactive individual to manage technical issues, maintain network integrity, and ensure seamless operations for our internal departments.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support via phone, email, and in-person to city staff, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage and maintain the organization's Active Directory and user account management processes.
- Install, configure, and deploy workstations, printers, and mobile devices for government employees.
- Document technical procedures and maintain a detailed inventory of IT assets and hardware.
- Collaborate with vendors and external partners to resolve complex technical issues and procure necessary equipment.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state data security protocols and government IT policies.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or system administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, and Active Directory.
- Experience with remote desktop tools, VPN configurations, and troubleshooting network connectivity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced government environment.
