Key Duties:
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support to county employees via phone, email, and in-person troubleshooting.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, printers, scanners, and mobile devices (Windows/macOS).
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Manage and administer local area networks (LAN), wireless networks, and VPN access.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all technical tickets, incidents, and resolutions in the ITSM system.
- Collaborate with the network engineering team to implement new IT projects and security patches.
- Assist in the procurement process for hardware and software upgrades.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a Help Desk, Technical Support, or IT Generalist role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (10/11) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Remote Desktop Services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-centric attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evening or weekend shifts during emergencies.
