Responsibilities
- Provide tiered technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues during evening hours.
- Monitor server status and system alerts to ensure uninterrupted service for government stakeholders.
- Perform routine system maintenance, patching, and security updates to protect sensitive data.
- Log and track all service requests and incidents in the ITSM ticketing system.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to resolve escalated issues and ensure seamless operations.
- Assist in the provisioning and configuration of end-user workstations and peripherals.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical support roles.
- Proficiency in Windows 10/11 and strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.
- Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this Federal contractor position.
