Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues for county employees in a timely manner.
- System Administration: Manage user accounts, permissions, and Active Directory environments to ensure data security and accessibility.
- Asset Management: Track and maintain inventory of IT equipment, including laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Help Desk Coordination: Assist in logging, prioritizing, and resolving incoming support tickets through our ticketing system.
- Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate records of technical procedures, incidents, and resolutions.
- Mobile Device Management: Support the deployment and maintenance of mobile devices used by county staff.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. High school diploma or GED with equivalent technical experience is accepted.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of professional IT support experience in a government or corporate environment.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is highly desired.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Windows 10/11 operating systems.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions under pressure.
