Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support via phone, email, and on-site assistance for all county departments.
- Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot hardware (laptops, desktops, printers) and software applications.
- Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues to ensure uninterrupted government operations.
- Manage software licenses, patches, and ensure strict compliance with county cybersecurity policies.
- Assist in the migration to cloud-based collaboration tools and enterprise resource planning systems.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Proven experience in helpdesk support, IT administration, or technical customer service.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office 365.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical staff.
