Responsibilities
- Lead Development: Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
- Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and scalable code following strict security and compliance standards for government systems.
- Team Collaboration: Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices across the team.
- System Integration: Integrate third-party APIs and legacy systems to streamline government services for the public.
- Security & Compliance: Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive citizen data in adherence to federal and state regulations.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor application performance and optimize load times to ensure a seamless user experience.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be substituted.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in web development, with a focus on full-stack applications.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end libraries.
- Backend Knowledge: Strong understanding of server-side technologies (Node.js, PHP, or Python).
- Methodology: Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
