Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across the organization.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and Active Directory administration to ensure data security.
- Perform regular system backups, patch management, and troubleshooting of operating systems (Windows/macOS).
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in the Service Desk ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Collaborate with the network engineering team to optimize infrastructure performance.
- Conduct hardware inventory and asset management for county equipment.
- Respond to help desk tickets and phone inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support, Help Desk, or a related technical role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Windows 10/11 operating systems.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and basic networking concepts.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft 365 Certified are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
