Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain the County's LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure.
- Manage and patch Windows Server environments and Active Directory domains.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive citizen data.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for internal staff and departments.
- Oversee hardware lifecycle management, including procurement and asset disposal.
- Collaborate with external IT vendors and auditors to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Administration or Network Engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certification: CompTIA Security+ or higher is mandatory.
- Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (Azure).
