Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT systems and network infrastructure to support government operations.
- Analyze system requirements and translate them into technical solutions for state agencies.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade internal systems and enhance user experience.
- Ensure compliance with state cybersecurity policies and data privacy regulations.
- Conduct regular system audits and provide technical documentation for all projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in systems analysis or IT support.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud-based technologies (Azure/AWS).
- Familiarity with government IT frameworks and security compliance standards (e.g., NIST).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to state facilities as needed.
