Responsibilities
- System Analysis & Design: Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex federal information systems and software solutions.
- Security Compliance: Ensure all IT systems meet strict NIST security standards and Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) requirements.
- Requirements Management: Gather and document detailed functional requirements from federal stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications.
- Project Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget, utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, data flow charts, and user manuals.
- Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot complex system issues and provide technical guidance to junior analysts and support staff.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal contracting or government IT environments.
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance is required.
- Certifications: ITIL Foundation or higher, PMP, or CISSP certification is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, Java, or C#; experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and database management systems.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
