We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Analyst to join our government team in San Jose, CA. You will be responsible for analyzing system requirements and delivering innovative solutions that enhance efficiency for city operations.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications and system designs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and vendors to ensure seamless integration of new software and hardware.
- Perform system performance tuning, security audits, and capacity planning to maintain optimal system health.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams and user manuals.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and support for government staff and citizen-facing applications.
- Ensure all IT solutions comply with local, state, and federal government regulations.
- Lead or participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to drive project delivery timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in systems analysis or a related technical role.
- Proficiency in SQL, Java, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and database management systems (Oracle/SQL Server).
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and government data security protocols.
- US Citizenship required for government clearance and security access.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
