Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT systems and networks to support city government functions.
- Perform system performance analysis and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify technical requirements and recommend scalable solutions.
- Enforce strict cybersecurity protocols and compliance standards to protect sensitive government data.
- Provide advanced technical support and training to City staff and external partners.
- Conduct regular audits of IT systems to ensure regulatory compliance and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 3+ years of progressive experience in systems analysis, IT support, or government technology environments.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Java is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and federal/state government compliance regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
