Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex IT systems and software solutions to support state agency operations.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for developers and engineers.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for end-users across various departments.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive government data and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Conduct system performance tuning, capacity planning, and regular audits to ensure system reliability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and digital transformation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT support.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or SQL.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure, cloud computing (AWS/Azure), and cybersecurity best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Must be able to pass a standard background check and obtain necessary government clearances.
