Responsibilities
- Sort and prepare mail for timely delivery along assigned routes
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and navigate Charlotte neighborhoods
- Provide customer assistance and resolve delivery inquiries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and regulations
- Operate automated sorting equipment when required
- Assist with special mail handling during peak seasons
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- Reliable transportation to/from work location
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and time management
