Responsibilities
- Sort and bundle mail and packages efficiently before loading the delivery vehicle.
- Deliver mail and parcels to residential and commercial addresses in a timely manner.
- Interact professionally with customers to resolve delivery issues and answer inquiries.
- Ensure the safe handling of sensitive and fragile items during transport.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the delivery vehicle.
- Adhere to all postal regulations, safety protocols, and traffic laws while driving.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C or higher) with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical stamina to lift packages and walk long distances daily in various weather conditions.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Basic computer literacy for tracking packages and managing logs.
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
