Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to customers along an assigned route in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collect and process incoming mail and packages from street letterboxes and post office boxes.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the assigned delivery vehicle.
- Adhere strictly to all postal safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Provide professional customer service to residents and businesses along the route.
- Sort and bundle mail according to delivery sequence.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Valid state driver's license required.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow.
- Pass a background check, criminal history check, and drug screening.
- Good vision and ability to read street names and addresses clearly.
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment physical examination.
