Responsibilities
- Sort and bundle mail according to address, ZIP codes, and postcodes.
- Load and unload trucks and carriers efficiently to ensure timely delivery.
- Deliver mail to homes and businesses along an assigned route.
- Obtain signatures for certified and registered mail.
- Report any damaged or undeliverable items to the station promptly.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment at the facility and on the route.
- Adhere to all USPS safety regulations and protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license (Class C) with a safe driving record.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Good physical stamina, including the ability to walk, bend, and stand for long periods.
- Basic computer literacy for tracking and reporting.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required.
- Ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
