Responsibilities
- Sort and process incoming and outgoing mail and packages efficiently according to USPS standards.
- Deliver mail to residential and commercial addresses in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collect and process payments for packages (CODs) when applicable.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and service status using digital scanners.
- Operate delivery vehicles and adhere to all traffic and safety regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve inquiries.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and walking for extended periods in various weather conditions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors.
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to operate scanning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends.
