Responsibilities
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing mail and packages from trucks and planes.
- Sort and distribute mail to the correct routes and delivery units efficiently.
- Operate mail processing equipment such as canceling machines and optical sorters.
- Ensure the security and safety of mail and facilities at all times.
- Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting, and bending for extended periods.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and postal regulations.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or have permanent resident status.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
- Good time management skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Basic computer literacy for logging work hours.
