Responsibilities
- Sort and process mail efficiently to ensure timely delivery to residential and business customers.
- Deliver mail and packages along an assigned route, adhering to strict time schedules.
- Interact professionally with customers, answer questions, and handle complaints with courtesy.
- Collect payments for COD (Cash on Delivery) items and obtain signatures when required.
- Maintain the safety and security of the mail while on duty, following all postal safety regulations.
- Keep the vehicle (if applicable) clean and well-maintained.
- Notify management of any delivery issues or hazards on the route.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have legal alien status.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift packages up to 70 lbs and stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (if driving a vehicle).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
