Responsibilities
- Deliver mail to residential and business customers along an assigned route on a scheduled basis.
- Sort and organize incoming mail to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
- Collect and process outgoing mail, including postage fees and certified mail.
- Interact professionally with customers to answer inquiries and resolve issues.
- Maintain the USPS vehicle in good working condition and report necessary repairs.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and USPS operational policies.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent legal status.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.
- Pass a background check and a drug screening.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
