Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages along a prescribed route in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collect and process incoming mail and parcels from collection boxes and customers.
- Interact professionally with customers to answer inquiries and resolve issues.
- Perform vehicle maintenance checks and ensure safe operation of delivery vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery activities and address changes.
- Adhere to all USPS safety regulations and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status is required.
- Valid driver's license (commercial preferred) with a good driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 70 pounds repeatedly.
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods, often in all weather conditions.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to read maps and street directories.
