Responsibilities
- Sort and process incoming and outgoing mail efficiently and accurately.
- Deliver mail to residential and business addresses on a designated route in San Francisco.
- Interact professionally with customers to resolve delivery issues and answer inquiries.
- Maintain a clean and organized mail vehicle or walking route.
- Adhere to strict safety regulations and postal service protocols at all times.
- Use handheld scanners and postal automation equipment to track packages and mail.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or have permanent resident status.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license (required for most vehicle-based routes).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 pounds repeatedly.
- Good vision (with or without the use of corrective lenses).
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and medical examination.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
