Responsibilities
- Route Management: Deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses along an assigned route in a timely and accurate manner.
- Mail Sorting: Sort incoming mail and packages efficiently to prepare them for delivery.
- Physical Stamina: Perform essential physical tasks including walking, standing, bending, lifting packages weighing up to 70 lbs, and climbing stairs.
- Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service, handle inquiries professionally, and resolve delivery issues.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine checks and cleaning of the assigned vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, address changes, and undeliverable items.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be a U.S. citizen or national, or a lawful permanent resident.
- Age: At least 18 years of age.
- Education: High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to pass a physical examination and meet specific motor and vision standards.
- Background Check: Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
