Responsibilities
- <ul><li>Perform general maintenance and repair of city streets, sidewalks, and alleys.</li><li>Operate and maintain heavy equipment, including dump trucks, front-end loaders, and pavement breakers.</li><li>Assist in snow and ice removal operations during winter months.</li><li>Maintain public parks, landscaping, and recreational facilities to ensure high aesthetic standards.</li><li>Load, unload, and distribute materials and supplies at job sites.</li><li>Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations while working in various weather conditions.</li><li>Report maintenance needs and safety hazards to the site supervisor immediately.</li></ul>
Qualifications
- <ul><li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.</li><li>Valid Texas Class C Driver's License required; Class A or B preferred.</li><li>Ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in extreme temperatures.</li><li>Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus but not mandatory.</li><li>Must pass a post-offer drug screen and background check.</li><li>Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed for city operations.</li></ul>
