Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy municipal vehicles, including dump trucks, graders, and sweepers.
- Perform daily street sweeping, pothole repair, and line striping maintenance.
- Clear snow, ice, and debris from roads, sidewalks, and public facilities during adverse weather.
- Load and unload construction materials, gravel, and landscaping supplies.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and OSHA guidelines while on site.
- Inspect municipal equipment for safety and mechanical issues.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other crew members.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Nevada Driver’s License (Class B CDL preferred).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
