Responsibilities
- Inspect, repair, and maintain municipal water mains, sewer lines, and related infrastructure.
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment, including backhoes, excavators, and trenchers, safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance on public parks, facilities, and street lighting systems.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and City policies during all operations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic issues in municipal vehicles and equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address infrastructure needs and emergency repairs.
- Ensure all work sites are kept clean, organized, and compliant with environmental standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License (Class D) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in maintenance, construction, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to pass a post-offer physical examination, including drug screen.
- Must possess the physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
