In this role, you will be responsible for performing essential maintenance tasks, ensuring public safety, and supporting various city departments. We are looking for reliable individuals who are ready to hit the ground running.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of public infrastructure and facilities.
- Operate heavy and light machinery, tools, and vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
- Respond to emergency service requests and public inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure strict compliance with all city safety regulations, OSHA standards, and operational policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including vehicles and equipment.
- Assist in snow removal, sanitation, or construction projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting 50+ pounds and working in all weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Previous experience in public service or general maintenance is a plus.
