Responsibilities
- Maintain parks, streets, and public facilities through daily upkeep and repairs
- Operate municipal equipment (e.g., trucks, mowers, heavy machinery) safely and efficiently
- Assist with storm response, snow removal, and emergency public works operations
- Perform routine inspections and report infrastructure issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on community projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and municipal safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Kentucky driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience with heavy equipment operation preferred
- Basic knowledge of public works maintenance procedures
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
