Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance of parks, streets, and public facilities
- Operate light machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Assist with storm debris removal and emergency response efforts
- Participate in community beautification and infrastructure projects
- Ensure compliance with municipal safety protocols and regulations
- Document work activities and maintain equipment records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on municipal initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and light equipment operation
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Must be available to work weekends/holidays during emergencies
- Previous municipal or construction experience preferred
