Responsibilities
- Perform daily sanitation and street sweeping operations across assigned routes.
- Maintain public parks, sidewalks, and roadways to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery, including trucks and street sweepers, safely and efficiently.
- Respond to emergency cleanup requests and weather-related debris removal.
- Adhere to all city safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Interact with the public professionally and resolve service inquiries.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; trade school preferred.
- Valid Michigan Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of equipment operation and safety procedures.
- Strong commitment to public service and community integrity.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
