Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance, cleaning, and snow removal on streets, sidewalks, and public facilities.
- Operate heavy machinery, including dump trucks, loaders, and plows, following strict safety protocols.
- Assist in traffic control operations and flagging duties to ensure public safety.
- Respond to emergency service requests and perform manual labor tasks as directed by supervisors.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and reports regarding work completed and materials used.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License (Class A or B) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform heavy physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in all weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Must pass a post-offer medical examination and drug screen.
