Responsibilities
- Perform routine street maintenance, including pothole repairs and signage installation
- Operate heavy machinery (e.g., graders, loaders) for infrastructure projects
- Conduct regular inspections of public facilities and parks
- Respond to emergency weather events (snow removal, storm debris cleanup)
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on community improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Adhere to all federal, state, and municipal safety regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Oklahoma Class C driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic proficiency with hand tools and power equipment
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- 1+ years of public works or construction experience preferred
