Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and facility security during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Conduct regular perimeter checks and surveillance rounds using advanced monitoring systems
- Respond to emergencies, medical incidents, and security breaches with precision
- Maintain detailed digital logs of all incidents and facility conditions
- Enforce institutional policies and de-escalate conflicts professionally
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Transport inmates as required for court appearances or medical needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license
- Ability to pass extensive background check and polygraph examination
- Basic First Aid/CPR certification (provided during training)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical fitness to meet job demands including long periods of walking
- Must be 21+ years old and a U.S. citizen
