Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 technical support and system monitoring during night hours to ensure business continuity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues for state employees.
- Perform routine server maintenance, patch management, and data backups to prevent downtime.
- Monitor network performance and respond immediately to security alerts or system anomalies.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and maintenance logs in our ticketing system.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to ensure seamless handovers of ongoing technical issues.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in IT support or system administration.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (23:00 - 07:00).
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts.
