Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for federal government systems during the evening and overnight hours.
- Monitor server health, network performance, and security alerts to ensure continuous operations.
- Resolve complex hardware and software issues reported by internal staff and government clients.
- Document all incidents, tickets, and resolutions in the Service Desk Management system.
- Collaborate with Day Shift teams to ensure seamless handovers and issue continuity.
- Conduct routine system backups and maintenance tasks to prevent data loss.
Qualifications
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (or Secret clearance if already held).
- High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s Degree in IT or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or help desk environments.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Windows operating systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be available to work a rotating night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
