Responsibilities
- Maintain 24/7 network infrastructure monitoring and incident response protocols.
- Perform hardware, software, and peripheral troubleshooting for federal workstations and servers.
- Ensure strict compliance with cybersecurity frameworks and government regulations (NIST, FISMA).
- Manage and prioritize IT service desk tickets to ensure rapid resolution of critical issues.
- Conduct regular system backups, patch management, and disaster recovery drills.
- Document technical incidents, resolutions, and maintenance logs in compliance with standards.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to ensure seamless handover of operational status.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Valid CompTIA Security+ or CCNA certification is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience working in night shift or 24/7 operational environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux administration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (Secret/Top Secret).
