We are looking for a self-motivated individual who thrives in a high-security environment and can ensure 24/7 system availability.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support for federal personnel via phone, remote access, and on-site assistance during the night shift.
- Monitor and maintain server health, network connectivity, and security alerts overnight.
- Perform routine system backups, patch management, and software installations.
- Escalate complex issues to Day Shift engineers and document all interactions in the ITSM ticketing system.
- Ensure compliance with federal IT security protocols and data privacy regulations.
- Conduct hardware troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent military technical training.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or network administration.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and weekends as required.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a current Secret Clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and TCP/IP networking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
