Responsibilities
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex IT issues for federal and state employees on a 24/7 night shift schedule.
- Perform routine system backups, patch management, and security audits to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Respond to helpdesk tickets and service requests with a focus on speed and accuracy during peak off-peak hours.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to document technical solutions and handover critical incidents.
- Ensure strict adherence to government security protocols (CUI, FISMA) and confidentiality standards.
- Conduct hardware installations and software configurations for workstations and peripherals.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT Help Desk, Technical Support, or System Administration.
- Strong understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Experience with government security clearance processes or familiarity with compliance frameworks is highly preferred.
- Must be available to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent military experience.
