Responsibilities
- Monitor government premises and assets using advanced surveillance systems
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure perimeter security and access control
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations
- Document security activities and prepare detailed incident reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical events
- Operate security equipment including CCTV, access control systems, and communication devices
- Provide emergency response assistance to staff and visitors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid Kentucky Security Guard License or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM) with rotating weekends
- Strong observational skills and crisis response capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and security technology systems
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification required
