Responsibilities
- Conduct routine patrols of the facility perimeter and interior to detect and prevent security breaches.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems, reporting any anomalies or suspicious activities immediately.
- Enforce rules and regulations, maintaining strict order and discipline within the facility.
- Perform headcounts and roll calls for inmates and staff to ensure accountability.
- Write detailed incident reports and log entries regarding observations, incidents, and maintenance issues.
- Control access points, verifying identification and credentials before allowing entry or exit.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, including fires, medical incidents, or altercations.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background investigation, including fingerprinting and drug screening.
- No Felonies: No felony convictions or pending criminal charges.
- License: Valid driver's license required.
- Physical Fitness: Must be able to pass a physical agility test and meet specific medical standards.
- Age: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
