Responsibilities
- Operate advanced screening equipment, including X-ray machines and metal detectors, to detect prohibited items.
- Conduct thorough pat-downs and searches of passengers, carry-on luggage, and checked baggage.
- Enforce security regulations and procedures in accordance with federal laws and TSA directives.
- Communicate effectively with passengers to provide clear instructions and maintain a professional demeanor under pressure.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient throughput and high-security standards.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and medical examination.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
