As a vital member of our overnight operations team, you'll maintain secure environments at county facilities, monitor surveillance systems, and respond to emergencies with precision. Responsibilities
- Patrol and secure county government buildings during overnight hours (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Operate advanced surveillance systems and access control technologies
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations with appropriate protocols
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services during critical events
- Conduct regular safety inspections and facility vulnerability assessments
- Enforce county policies and security procedures with professionalism
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree in criminal justice preferred
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid Wisconsin Security Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- First Aid/CPR certification required (training provided if needed)
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
- Proficient in surveillance systems and access control software
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work rotating schedules and overtime as needed
