Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the stability of server infrastructure and network systems during evening and overnight hours.
- Perform routine system backups, patch management, and security updates to prevent downtime.
- Respond to and resolve technical incidents and service tickets escalated from the day shift team.
- Conduct routine security audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to state cybersecurity protocols.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software solutions.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Must be available to work a rotating night shift schedule (e.g., 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM).
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various state facilities if required.
