Responsibilities
- Maintain Park Facilities: Perform routine maintenance on park buildings, restrooms, playgrounds, and recreational equipment to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Landscaping & Groundskeeping: Assist with mowing, trimming, planting, and general upkeep of green spaces, athletic fields, and walking trails.
- Event Support: Set up and dismantle equipment for community events, festivals, and sports tournaments; assist with crowd control and logistics.
- Public Interaction: Greet park visitors, answer inquiries, and enforce park rules and regulations professionally.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect, clean, and perform minor repairs on tools, vehicles, and machinery used in park operations.
- Trash & Waste Management: Collect and empty trash receptacles; ensure waste disposal areas are kept sanitary and organized.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, and perform manual labor for extended periods; must pass a physical fitness assessment.
- License: Valid Florida Driverβs License is preferred.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of landscaping, maintenance tools, or construction is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Reliability: Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential for this role.
