Responsibilities
- Maintain and clean parks, playgrounds, athletic fields, and recreational facilities on a daily basis.
- Assist in the setup, execution, and breakdown of community events, festivals, and sports leagues.
- Perform basic landscaping duties including mowing, raking, planting, and trimming vegetation.
- Monitor park grounds to ensure safety compliance, remove hazards, and report maintenance issues.
- Interact positively with the public, providing information and assistance to visitors and residents.
- Operate and maintain light power equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and edgers.
- Collect and dispose of litter and waste in designated areas.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
- Valid Missouri Class E Driver's License is required.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping, horticulture, or general maintenance is a plus.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
