Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance of parks, trails, and recreational facilities including litter removal, landscape upkeep, and equipment sanitization
- Assist with recreational program coordination including youth sports, senior activities, and community events
- Conduct safety inspections and report maintenance issues to supervisors
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors, answering inquiries and resolving concerns
- Operate light maintenance equipment (training provided) and adhere to safety protocols
- Support special events setup/teardown and seasonal park beautification projects
- Maintain accurate records of facility conditions and visitor interactions
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the US
- High school diploma or equivalent (current students welcome)
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid California Driver's License preferred
- Basic knowledge of park maintenance or recreation (training provided)
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
