Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, athletic fields, and playgrounds through landscaping, irrigation, and equipment operation
- Facilitate recreational programs including youth sports, senior activities, and community events
- Ensure safety compliance and conduct routine facility inspections
- Provide exceptional customer service to park visitors and program participants
- Operate maintenance equipment (mowers, tractors, snow removal) safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on park improvement projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification preferred
- 1+ years in landscaping, facility maintenance, or recreation program coordination
- Valid Minnesota driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and conflict resolution abilities
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Knowledge of turf management and irrigation systems a plus
