Responsibilities
- Coordinate virtual recreation programs and digital community engagement initiatives
- Develop remote fitness and wellness content for diverse community groups
- Conduct virtual park assessments and safety protocol reviews
- Manage online reservation systems and digital permit processes
- Lead hybrid community meetings and stakeholder consultations
- Support on-site events through remote coordination and oversight
- Analyze park usage data to optimize remote service delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Environmental Science, or related field
- 2+ years experience in parks, recreation, or community outreach
- Proficiency with virtual collaboration tools (Zoom, Teams, Slack)
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong written communication skills for digital content creation
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Experience with event planning and stakeholder management
- Ability to travel 2-3 days/month for on-site activities
