Responsibilities
- Maintain park landscapes including turf management, irrigation systems, and tree care
- Operate maintenance equipment (mowers, trimmers, tractors) safely and efficiently
- Organize and supervise recreational programs for diverse age groups
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations during facility operations
- Conduct daily inspections of park amenities and report maintenance needs
- Assist with special event setup and crowd management
- Implement sustainable park conservation practices
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in recreation management preferred
- 1+ years of park maintenance or recreational program experience
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean record
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends/holidays
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency with basic maintenance tools and equipment
